How it works
To get started, send me an email at lara.palombi@gmail.com.
Once you have decided you would like to begin sessions, we will discuss availability and how many hours/week the student would like to meet.
The day before, the student will e-mail me the material they would like to work on for our session. This could be classwork, homework, and/or general questions. This will help me so I can look over the material beforehand and provide the best possible tutoring experience for you. Of course if more comes up during our session, I would be happy to work on that as well. After all, this is your time! For SAT/ACT work, I will provide practice tests to be completed prior to our session.
All remote tutoring is conducted over Zoom. I will send a link prior to the session. I will share my screen and use the online platform Desmos to type out mathematics and graph equations, and sketch.io to draw diagrams.
In-person tutoring can be conducted at your house, at mine, at the library, or any other potential meeting location in between Saugerties and New Paltz. Please note that in-person tutoring will include a travel fee.
